setting up database on 2 other computers

I have just designed a ACT database as the ad director , my question is if I can I just send a ACt shortcut to a shared file so that my sales people can add there contacts and notes in the data base?  ( ie drop on a shared folder in server)? I use ACT premium-thanks in advance for any help !!

Yes, you can setup a shared database.  ACT! will need to be installed on the other computers as well.

We are a team of 2 and want to share the ACT database.  Can we do so without having a server?  What is the easiest way to synchronize our separate activities?  We both have ACT 2009.  Thanks.

Re: setting up database on 2 other computers

You can share the database between two PCs w/o a server as long as you are using a supported version of Windows.

Be sure to verify that you machines meet the published system requirements.

If you are sharing one database, you will not need to syncrhonize any of the data as you are both running off the same database...
