sa password is easily changed with "SQL Server Management Studio"
then you can reset it with "ActDiag" ie creating new dbs in act.
having said all this i noticed that act is trying to login as "SA user" upon startup.
my question is whats is the purpose for act to logon as a "SA user" I can not see any functionality issue that i have tested
other than creating new dbs
thanks inadvance

now answering a question with question is not excactly polite...but I am game never the less
using act7 on the ms.sql2k7 latest builds 10.50.4270 as an instance
backup etc
but more so i have other crms instances running that on ocasion require SA access so I default the sa user
then restore via actdiag if needed
so no why would you ever puchase the password from sage.....btw have ocean front property 4 sale in arizona
they should be more concerned with file security hence another post in this forum
so what is the answer to my question
btw I am in act7 2013

Answering a question with a question usually just means that we need a little more specific information.
As Mike suggested, I would (and do) use the ACT Scheduler to create the backup zip file.
