"Your trial version has expired" - Recurring problem! ACT! Premium 2013

I've registered and activated ACT! Premium 2013, but whenever I go to start it, I keep getting the trial version screen.

It seems to keep forgetting that I'm already registered and activated. How do I fix this? It's very annoying.

If Windows 7 (or Vista), try 'Run as administrator' option. To do this: close Sage ACT!, right click on Sage ACT! icon > select 'Run as administrator' > you may have to register > close/reopen to test.

Hi There

There can be many reasons why this keeps happening.  Please refer to this knowledge base article which lists some possible resolutions:

Prompted to Register ACT when already registered

It lists quite a few possible causes, but I generally find its related to damaged windows system files.
