"Value cannot be null" then shut down error .....any ideas?????

Smiley SurprisedHi everyone

I was wondering if anyone could suggest what may be going wrong for this error message to pop up every few hours!!

Only cleansing database and after deleting contact error message "value cannot be null" pops up the error message "act has encounted an error. please shut down application"

i am running on Windows XP on a server and have act 2010 premier.

any suggestions would me much appreciated.

kind regards,

Jayne, try looking into the event log and see what is causing the error message.  Right-click on My Computer/Manage/Event Viewer/Application.  Once there, you may see a red circle with an X -- if that is a .NET Runtime 2.0 Error, for example, that will tell you what could be causing the problem.  Hope that helps, Brenda
