"Unable to set the NumberFormat proerty of the range class" When export to Excel

Hi, This is my first day with act, so I'm sorry if this problem has already been posted, I could not find it in the past post.

I am having a problem when exporting my opportunity list to excel (using the icon, or tools-export).

When I click the Icon the following problem appear.

1) A window displays "Unable to set the NumberFormat proerty of the range class"

2) No excel sheet opens

3) If I open any excel file from my computer the export excel file appears as "Sheet 1"

4) The total and weighted colums format in excel appears as "General"

Can somebody work this out?

Thank you.

I would start by getting ACT and Excel working together properly, what versions of both are you using?

A guess would be to try uninstalling and reinstalling Excel.

I already Format the PC, then install office 2003 and ACT, did not work.

I did the same with office 2007, the same problem.

Anyone have the same problem?

Has anyone be able to solve it?

Thank you
