We have a user that wants to save a copy of his database, which is located on a Citrix server, to his home machine. He purchased Act 11 (normal) while we have Act 11 Premium. We're trying to have him save a copy, which he can then copy those files to his machine (since Act doesn't support saving a copy to a network drive) but two of the files created (the .adf and .alf) prevent inheritable permissions when they are created by Act, so he doesn't have the access to copy either as he is not a local administrator of the Citrix server.
How can we make this work?

Will just backing up an act 11 premium database allow it to open in act 11 standard?
If so, will the zip file created allow the inheritable folder permissions?

Oh sorry, misread the original post. Follow the KB article below.

Which brings me back to my original problem, that the .adf and .alf files are blocked from inheriting the folder permissions for where they are created, so this user does not have access to actually copy them (as the two files are shown as having "administrators" as the owner, even though the user is saving the copy in a folder he has full control of).
We don't want to make him an administrator of our Citrix server, but we don't want to have to do this for him whenever he wants to copy the database.
