I'm looking at upgrading from Act 2009 to 2012 but I'm trying to make the transition as simple as possible. In Act 2009, there was a "Look for:" search bar in the Contact List section that would search only the company field. Is there any way to set this up somehow so it is there and functions the same? So far it appears that there is only the search bar that searches EVERYTHING or the Lookup section in the top left corner that is set to "Contact" by default (which can't be changed from what I've read) and it only searches through contact names.

There's a search on the Navigation bar in 2012 but the one I use most is to right click on the field I want to search on and select the search option.

In the contact list view, click Options on the far right and choose Show Look For
