I recently updated my Act software to:
Sage ACT! Premium 2011 Version 126.96.36.199, Hot Fix 3
And the "Attach to Act" function in Word 2010 has stopped working. In Word, I can go to "Add-Ins", ACT, and select "Attach to Act", but nothing happens.
Is there a fix for this?

Try updating your anti-virus software with exceptions for ACT! and SQL, it may be blocking the action. Here is an article with the exceptions to add: KB Article 25125
Does anything else happen? Word freezes/unresponsive...
Is an ACT! database open at the time you attempt to attach?
Have you checked the Event Viewer for any error messages?
You may also want to update to V13.1 HF4. I've tested on my machine and the 'Attach to ACT!' is successful. Article with instructions: KB Article 27440
