i have an prob with adding an contact to an group
if i chosse an contact an click add to an i.e. telephone list - than nothing happend and the act stops - i can see act but i can´t do nothing because nothing is active
if i open left side "groups" and than telephone list - and there the button add contact - than it works

If Act is freezing but not crashing (Providing an unresponsive error message) then i believe the add to group page maybe off screen.
I have included an article below that should allow you to move it back.
This usually is caused due to Act popup windows expecting to have a second screen but has been disconnected.
