partially deleted databases

In the process of experimenting with a conversion to ACT 10  individuals developed databases and copies of databases which were then deleted.    Unfortunately they deleted the files they could see and left but I do not think the data was deleted from MS SQL.   How do we gain access to these databases to delete them completely???

Re: partially deleted databases

ebenwalker,

What are you experiencing to think the databases haven't been deleted?

Go to the Start menu and select Run.  Type actdiag and click Ok.

In the ACT! diagnostics, select Database | Database List.

Do you see any of those partially deleted databases listed?  If so, select the desired database and note the location to the right.  Then right click > detach database.  Then go to the location and delete the left over files.
