i'm trying to save a keyboard shortcut for schedule, and it won't save? I tried both the activities we made and the defaults - any ideas?
thanks

What version of ACT! are you using (Help/About ACT)?
What is the specific shortcut you are trying to use and for what action?
Are you receiving an error or other message when trying to save the shortcut?

and i tried cntrl O

As long as the shortcut is not assigned to another command, it should work. In the Assign Shortcut dialog box, it should tell you if the shortcut you are choosing is already in use (in the "Shortcut currently assigned to" box). Ctrl+O is already assigned to the Open Database command by default. I tried Alt+A for a custom activity and it worked fine for me. Try using Ctrl+K for the Schedule Vacation command as test.

I tried that vacation cntrl K and it didn't stay
it also didn't stay with another person's, so i assume it's not a pref thing
any ideas?

i should add that i did the cntrl K, said ok to close the window
then openened up the customize window again (without closing the DB) and it was there
when i closed the DB and reopened it, that's when it was gone

I have duplicated the issue you described and have reported it for further research. An update will be provided if the status changes or if an alternative work-around to this issue is identified.
This only seems to be the case with custom activities under the "Other Activities" menu.
