issue with creating new database from current database

Creating a new databse, so that new fields can be created and old fields changed, but it seems the calanders will not import into the new version, not sure what the problem is, the original contact field was the company, and there was no company field it was empty, in the new database the company field has been created and the contact field copied, is this the problem?  Since there is no linking to the contact, just the company therefore are all meetings removed?

 

 Any help would be appreciated.

 

This is ACT 9 for Web.

From what data format are you creating the new database.

Are you going from one ACT database to another, or are you importing a CSV or DBF file?

exporting from one Act 9 database into a new ACT 9 Database and changing some of the fields, but not contact or the company field.
