error while backing up in Act 11.0 2009 Premium Edition [ Edited ]

Hi Gurus

Please uregntly help

I am getting following Errorr in Act 2009 11.0 Premium version while Backing up a database.....

the following error occured during backup. the operation was cancelled.

 Type : Xceed.System.Diskfile

Cannot perform requested operation on item that does not exist

Do you have enough disk space?  Try clearing out the temp folders and test with a different database.

You can access both temp folders by following the steps below.

Start > Run > temp

Start > Run > %temp%

Sir, My temp folders are clear and have enough disk free space.

I am able to backup other databases on the system.

But on this main database i get this error.

Also i get the error when i am trying to create a remote database . Please suggest.

If i take backup without attachments i am successful but i am unable to take backup with attachments nor i am able to create a rdb file

Make sure the "Backups" folder in the database supplemental files folder is empty. If not, delete any of the files there

This is where ACT! creates it's backup temp files. If the backup fails, they stay there and it will try to include them in subsequent backups.

If it has failed a number of times, this can be very large.

Sir, the Backup Folder is empty . it is automativally deleting the files once it fails......

Are you looking at the backup folder under the database folder?

Is there any more data on the error in the Windows Event Log?
