Hi - I am new to this forum so hopefully am posting in the correct place
We have recently upgraded to Act! Premium Version 17.2.217.0. The database is a shared database on a server running Windows Server 2012 R2 (I think).
All users are running Windows 7.
Since the upgrade we have had an issue with custom fields not updating when data is deleted.
I have contacts linked to companies and I have checked all my linked fields. When I add or change data to either a field in Company, I get a pop up asking do I want to update contacts - I click yes and the data in the Contact is updated.
However, when I delete data from a field in Company, I still get the pop up asking to update contacts, I click yes but the data is not deleted from the Contact field.
I had been advised to use this fix but our version of ACT is newer and therefore it doesn't work.

Our IT support seem to think this may be a bug, but we don't have a support package and therefore cannot get any detailed information from Swiftpage.
I would be grateful for any help.

Thank you for your response and I will ask our IT guys to have a look but the file is from 2008 and states that it is for V16 and that the fix is for versions 10.02 thru11.0 databases.
As I said above we are working on a newer database Act! Premium Version 17.2.217.0.
I have had a look at the knoweledge base but haven't found anything that references the version of ACT that we are using and the issue that we are experiencing
.

Brenda,
Sorry for the inconvience and miscommunication. There is not a current version of the DBFixer to fix this issue for 17.2. I am going to speak with our development team to see if we can get this resolved.
In the meantime, please send a backup of the Database to our Database Services department so they can fix this issue. Below is a link to a Knowledgebase Article that will walk you through the process. Select the option for Database Repair Services.

I have just had a look at the link provided - I hope that there won't be any charges to fix the issue that has presented itself since upgrading?
