connected to old old database, syncing issues, how to get new database working again?

- Sage Act Premium Web (2013) 15.0.301

- Shared via network.

- Server 2003 Virtual Machine

While moving the VM act resides, a one year backup was moved instead of the latest server.  Yeah yeah, stupid, I know.  Luckily I was able to catch this and put the correct server up.  Unfortunately a few of my users tried to sync with the old database and can no longer sync with the new one.  Any suggestions?

I'm thinking the easiest thing would be just to recreate remote databases.  The problem is that a bunch of people did a bunch of work in between their last sync and trying to sync with the bad data.  Is there any way to export the stuff added between a syn and re-import it somehow?

Thanks!

Backup Server
Backup all the remotes
One at a time, Restore_As and open the Remotes on the Server
Export each of them to Server database as per: http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/14010

BTW: I'd also upgrade server and all remotes to 15.1 + Hotfix 3 as per:
