i accidentally installed one of my users with a US type locale setup; other 2 users are installed as Canadian. to try to correct this , i uninstalled act from the US machine, then reinstalled as canadian, but still it is set to US. I even tried to install the hotfix 4 (canada) onto the US version, and no success. I am stuck here, can you help me change the US install to Canadian?

You might try using the ACT! Uninstaller utility to ensure that all ACT! files are removed, then try a reinstall using Canadian preferences. The utility can be found in Knowledgebase Article 19338. Be sure to carefully follow the instructions in the article.
