What version of ACT! (full build from help | about)?
When it fails, what error do you get?
Has the file modified date changed?

Act Premium 2009 for Web
I do not have the complete failure notice, just that the backup failed due to the specific document named.
I checked, and one of the other users had indeed opened the document in question but did not make any changes, just closed it.
If I need more specific details, I will try to recreate the problem and note the actual failure notice.

I could not re-create it. I opened an attachment and closed it, ran a backup just fine. Looks like I will have to wait until the error occurs again on its own.
