With Act! Premium Version 18.0.501.0, Hot Fix 1 on stand alone computer (no server) running Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1, after clearing an activity assigned to multiple contracts from the Alarms window [Clear Activity], the alarm window continues to display the alarm and will not clear by clicking [Clear Alarm] button. Clicking [Clear Activity] displays a window "This activity is currently cleared. Do you want to unclear it?" Closing the window [X] closes the Alarms window but it displays again in short time (5 minutes). How is a cleared message alarms cleared? Obviously a bug.

This has been happening to me: Act! Pro Version 220.127.116.11, Update 6 I clear the activity, the activity shows in history, it doesn't show in contact activities, but it still shows in the alarm pop-up. Closing and restarting ACT! works, but that's kind of a pain (and it's a randomly occurring thing, sometimes a few times a day, sometimes once per day- but it happens every day).
Anyone else experiencing this?

You could try View and then F5 to refresh to see if that clears them.
nope, that doesn't work - that only refreshes the main window (not the alarm pop-up). The activity does clear from the calendar, it just stays in the Alarm window. Once it happens, no other alarms will clear either (they all stay in the window). Interestingly, when a new alarm comes up - the alarm that didn't clear will update with the "regarding" field that was recorded in history. odd.

I just also noticed, when the activity doesn't clear from the alarm window (it is cleared under contacts, and shows the history under the contact) - I can't open a history tab (from the menu on the left side). odd.
