Running Act 2006 premium for workgroups on our server SBS2003 sp2 and have come up to a problem with the SQL server. Due to the installation of a new program on the server we had to upgrade to SQLEXPRESS 2005, however now we cannot run our Act2006 database. How can I add Act2006 to SQLExpress 2005?

ACT! 2006 only used SQL 2000 Standard or SQL 2000 MSDE
ACT! 2007 and later use SQL 2005

You could also reinstall SQL 2000 (Standard for ACT! Premium ST or MSDE otherwise) - they should be able to run at same time. But would use more resources with two SQL engines
Or host the ACT! database on another machine
But you'd find the upgraded version is well worth it... much faster and many great features.
