act premium link to peachtree

When I try to link Act! premium 2008 to peachtree accounting for mfg 2007, it asks for linked company.  But when i send it to the folder when the accountant has the company, it keeps asking for a company name!?  What do I need to be looking for?!

Re: act premium link to peachtree

So I just got off of the phone with support and she is telling me that I need to have a peachtree accounting installed on every machine I use Act on so that I can link them.  This makes no sense what so ever.  Besides spending alot of money, there is no reason I should have to load accounting software onto machines that salesmen are using, especially since they will never use accounting software!

FWIW, we are looking at creating an accounting link that doesn't require this... ask me in about 3-4 months and see if we've done it

Did you ever end up getting anywhere with a new Peachtree link?

Thanks

Re: act premium link to peachtree

We had a bit of delay, but are looking at the Beta release of our link supporting QuickBooks end of this month or early next. Then will be adding other accounting systems - PeachTree and MYOB are top of the list

Will post to these locations as soon as available:
