I thought I saw an answer somewhere but can not seem to find it anymore. I have an intermittent problem with outlook and act.
When I open/ reply to emails I get a pop up window that says "the operation failed" and the word act is in the title bar. When this happens I am not able to write emails and icons from the ribbon are missing/ grayed out. When close the email and reopen it there is no problem.
this problem is getting worse (happening more often) is there any way to solve this?

Is there any other details in the error?
If not, can you look in the Windows Event logs and see if there's an error there?

ID: 0 isn't very helpful
Is there any other error before/after that?
Maybe try - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312354
What version of Outlook?
Are you using Outlook as the email client or ACT! Email connected to Outlook?
