Working In Group Look Up-Adding Duplicate Contact Problem And Staying In The Group

Our firm uses GROUPS for our daily call plans (executive search).  In ACT 2011 if you are in the middle of a GROUP LOOK-UP and have to add a duplicate contact (primary fields) it automatically takes you to the first contact in the look-up and your newly added contact is not in the GROUP!

PREVIOUS versions of ACT would allow you to create Duplicate Contact in the GROUP LOOK UP  and would automatically add that new contact to the GROUP!    In ACT 2007 that stopped but we could work around it by manually adding the new CONTACT (created from the Duplicate Contact propogated primary fields) to the GROUP and then hit PREVIOUS LOOK UP and it would take us right back to where we started.

NOW,  this function does NOT work.  You have to create the Duplicate contact, come out of the GROUP LOOK UP,  LOOK UP the newly created Contact,  manually add it to the group,  then do a GROUP LOOK UP, and remember where we were and start all over.

Does anyone know a work-around for this issue?  This makes working in a GROUP LOOK UP absolutely useless to us from a productivity perspective.
