Client is using:
Microsoft Word 2019 MSO (16.0.12130.20334) 64-bit
Act! Premium Version 220.127.116.11, Update 4
Merge documents working fine with no errors. Add-in tab is loading perfectly fine. Can manually attach to contacts, can manually record history from the add-in.
However there used to be an automatic prompt to record to history when you print. The prompt no longer appears, neither with regular print nor with quickprint. (I had seen that suggested as a workaround).
The KB article related to this issue only addresses problems with the add-in being improperly installed or corrupt, which does not seem to be the case here.
This behavior is replicated on all users at the company (4 users). These are all new PCs, freshly installed Office 2019, freshly installed Act Prem 21.1.
Any ideas? They're okay with the manual clicking to Record History for now, but it's hard to sell them that their new Act upgrade actually took away some of their old functionality.

I have a horrible feeling that I have seen this as an issue with 21.1 version waiting on a fix. Will have a dig around in outstanding fixes and let you know.
