There does not seem to be a way for Smart Tasks to update a Date field. Really? Is this true? I'm stunned. I've looked a few times and none of the Date fields show up as option for a field to update when choosing Update Field when editing a Smart Task in the Manage Smart Tasks window.
Am I missing something or is the functionality not available?

You are correct. Smart Tasks cannot currently be used to update a date field.

I am finding that Smart Tasks will not update any field type except a 'character' field. I have changed the User 1 field type to currency or decimal and where it was visible before when building a Smart task, it is now not visible as an available field to use in updating. What field types are available to use in updating fields in a Smart Task. I cannot find that information anywhere.
I am wanting to import monthly sales numbers into Act to a currency field and want to use a smart task, but I cannot when the field type is set to currency.???????
