Where the Indices folder is kept

Just spent a few minutes finding this on a Server 2003 machine, and it wasn't in \ProgramData like I'd expected, thought I'd share it here:

The Act.Server.Host.exe process creates indexes used by Univeral Search.

on Win7 and Server 2008, you'll find the Indicies folder in:

C:\ProgramData\Act\ACT Data\Indices

on XP and Server 2003, you'll find the Indices folder in:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ACT\ACT Data\Indices

Those are the correct ways Microsoft like that type of data to be stored :-)

Re: Where the Indices folder is kept

KB Article 30265 has been updated to include the Universal Search Indices folder.
