We’re pleased to announce the availability of Act! 18.0.501 Update 6.
This update will be available on our act.com Resources Download page, with each new Act! v18.0 install through slipstream, and through the Act! Update service. This update makes improvements to the customer experience while not changing the database schema version. Coordination of client updates is not required. Act! Administrators are advised to read the section below named “Update will open KB article” as this information applies to private and shared database owners.
Update 6 contains the following bug fixes:
D-04114 Web - Chrome - Advanced query feature can’t be used with Chrome.
D-04119 Web - Companies List View – cannot export to Excel
D-04120 Web - The list of contacts associated to Company-A are actually the contacts associated with Company-B.
D-04122 Web - Calendars – Some time zone features would log off the customer.
D-04129 Can’t email a Document listed in the Document tab
D-04131 Web - Cannot filter histories by type in History View and all History tabs
D-04150 Web - Performance - Notifications polling is every three seconds s/b 2 hours
Update will open a KB article:
Cumulative update involves a DBFixer to implement the SQL stored procedure changes need to fix the Yes/No field issues of D-04034 and D-04035. This will not alter the Schema Version – eliminating any need to coordinate the change by the Act! administrator or IT department. Please review the KB that is displayed at the end of the update and provide any feedback you wish. Read the KB here :http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/36573. We recommend you download and save the DBFixer in a handy place for any 18.0 database needs.
Certificate Issue Update:
This Update is signed with the new SHA-2 certificate so we expect updates to go as smoothly in the field as they have here in the office.
