Verifying contact info is changed

Is there a setting where a notification will come up that asks if you want to save changes when editing contact info - it does for notes but not when editing a contact. We have had issues with windows 7 not saving info unless the save button is hit but want some sort of reminder

We have noticed the same issue. Is there any response or fix from sage for this problem? I has become a very big problem for us.

1. Which version(s) of ACT! ?

2. Is it a problem in saving information in fields, if so which ACT! view e.g. Contact Detail view, and which field(s) in the view?

We are running ACT! Pemium 2011 v 13.0.401.1 Hot Fix 2

 

It seems to happen in contact view on fields and history.

 

The users "report" that it happens in xp but have only been able to verify it on Windows 7

To assist you Sage will likely need more precise information. I suggest you record precisely what is happening to narrow down the problem. I know in my own daily use of ACT! I have got into the habit of clicking the Save Changes button on the tool bar to ensure data is saved on editing or creating new contact records.
