We have in our company Desktop and Web edition of ACT Premium 2012 (Ver 14).
We have tried to Backup our database from Dektop edition of Act and to restore it on our Web Edition. This worked out well, and all the data that we could see only through Dekstop application, we can now see through our Web portal (APFW application).
But one crucial functionality is not working on this restored Database - Universal search.
By looking at logs we see that this Database is not indexed at all. Appropriate SearchService is not started for it. For example, in logs we don't see something like : net.tcp://<serverName>:8112/SearchService/<DatabaseName>
Does anybody knows why wouldn't Universal Search work on this restored database? Is the problem with Editions (In)compatibity or something needs to be done additionaly beside just simple Database restore?
