Users see only their contacts?

Reading through a few messages and threads on here, but can seem to find it or see it anywhere - is there a way of making a low level access user only able to view their own records or would this be completed via several access restrictions made by other users at the time of creating their records.

I don't want to include the private function however as this hides them from the ultimate administrator.

Thanks

Re: Users see only their contacts?

The premium feature of ACT has a feature called limited Access. While private hides from everyone except the user, limited access allows you to define which members of your team see which records.

Here is an article that describes this.

So is there not a way to definately only allow a low level user to only see their own contacts?

Hello Stuart,
If you have the Premium version, you can use Limited Access to specify which contacts a standard user can see. The Pro version only has Public and Private access levels.

So to answer your question:
Premium - Yes
Pro - No
