error: "An earlier version of Sage ACT! has been detected. To install Sage ACT! Premium (Web) 2013, uninstall your previous version and start this installation again."
I have Sage ACT! Premium (Web) 2013 installed.
I attempted to upgrade with administrator privs via ACT! with no success.
I attempted to upgrade with the downloaded file from the download section (actpremweb2013sp1_ca_update) and I get this error.
I tried this upgrade on a fresh install without HotFixes and also with HotFix 2.
ideas or solutions?
thanks in advance.

thanks for the replies guys.
Bill - yes I had followed those guides trying to get the upgrade to work.
Solution:
I requested a download of the Sage ACT! Premium 2013 (access via web) with SP1 from Sage. Worked like a charm.
Although the upgrade process is buggered when trying to apply SP1 to a prior install, I'm now up and running with this all-in-one full install.

yes I did by using windows control panel and tried again, same error.
I then also followed one of the threads here to manually remove (although it was a 2012 reference) and cleaned up some of the files/dirs/registry and then tried again with no luck.
