Upgrade ACT

I am thinking about upgrading our act database. We are currently running ACT 2008 premium.

We have extended the program with a lot of user specified fields.

We have a lot of excel macro-enabled sheets which extract data by SQL-queries, and use these data to perform

different kind of reports.

My question is if I am upgrading would it then impact these sheets? I reckon it will, which leaves me with a big work load when deciding to perform this upgrade!!

Re: Upgrade ACT

Difficult to say ... there has been quite a few changes since 2008
Depends on how you're accessing the SQL (OLEDB or ODBC) and what areas.
You should get the trial, install it on one system, backup your db and restore/convert it on that system and test

Re: Upgrade ACT

I am accessing by ODBC. Have a main database, and the salesmen are using remote databases.
