Updating linked Company and Contact fields for multiple companies

Is there any way to update linked Company and Contact fields for multiple companies? I can only do this one at a time. Surely, there must be a way to update these in bulk.

labbe1906,

You can only updated linked contacts one company at a time.

Please submit a feature request to be considered in a future version - http://www.act.com/community/feature/

I think the ImportIT.net addon from CRMADDON.com will do this.  If you're doing a lot of imports this is the tool you want.

You can use it after an import of company field information, or on a regular basis.

After an import of company information, the linked contact fields will be updated.

You can download it here.

************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debugging enabled.

For example:

<configuration>     <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" /> </configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box.
