Understanding Sync - Application, Network, Internet

Does anyone have a link or tutorial regarding Application, Network and Internet sync. What's the difference and when to use each one?

Most people configure sync using Network sync. It is potentially more secure , the easiest to setup and easiest to troubleshoot. Stick with Network sync and if you have problems you will find more resources on the topic as it is more frequently used by people.

Agreed. Application sync will force you to have the master ACT database open at all times (however, this is the only sync for Standard or Pro users)  Go with Network Sync  (however will require opening a port on the firewall)
