Unable to manually backup database after a restore from tape

Hello,

I am trying to manually backup our ACT database.  It worked fine yesterday.  Today I get this error:

"The following error occurred during backup .  The backup was cancelled.

Cannot open backup device \\server\act-database\backup\\server_act_*******.bak. Operating system error 5 (Access is denied.)

BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.

 PRC_MAINT_BACKUPDB: ERROR EXECUTING DATABASE STATEMENT"

Please help!

Thanks,

Re: Unable to manually backup database after a restore from tape

nevermind.  Turns out the ACT - Database Files directory was shared.  Had funky permissions.  Fixed that and the backup ran perfectly.
