I have a Dell Vostro 200 with Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.20Ghz w/ 3Gb of RAM; Windows XP Professional SP2. We have Act! Premium 2008 10.0 (ST Edition) 10.0.0.237 Hotfix 1. I can't edit my layouts. I have made an empty copy of our shared server database to this local computer. I go to edit contact layout and sometimes it loads the editor but everything is white; or I can see everything and I start copying or doing anything and it stops working after 3 changes. So I've only been able to change 2-3 things at a time. When I make a layout from clean slate everything goes well until I'm into the 7th tab in design.
I need to know what's the problem : Act! or the computer. My video card is an intel chipset integrated graphics with 128mb of ram ( don't know if it's shared) Do I need a better video card or to reinstall Act or what. Thanks.
