Hello, I recently upgrade to an iMac from an HP desktop and was excited to learn that I could run Windows on the Mac using Parallels. I have been unable to find anything to replace Act!, so I bought parallels, installed Windows Vista, installed Act in Parallels but am unable to create a new database. After entering the database info, I get a message that reads:
"A file activation error occurred. The physical file name ... may be incorrect. Diagnose and correct additional errors, and retry the operation."
It won't let me run the demo database, and using startup assistant leads to the same message.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
