Unable to convert message

I am getting the following message:

 

Unable to convert the attachment 's:\ACT\Doucments\letter.wpa':the file is missing

 

How can I fix this?  Thanks.

Are you upgrading your database from any previous version of act?

is the database moved from another machine

can you goto to the location and check for the file

I received this message before we added a new computer to our Network. 

 

When I go to the Directory the .wpa files are stored and try to open, ACT will open but the letter gives me "System Exception: unknown format."

 

Thanks for any help you can give us.

right click on the .wpa file

select the option open with | select choose program | check the box always use this prog to open this kind of file

select act by sage as the option

now try to open your wpa file and check

Change the Opens with property of the file - and it should open

Thanks.  I was able to read the .wpa file by opening it this way.  But, my correspondence files are not connected to by database anymore in the History section and I therefore cannot open the file while I am in ACT.  Thanks again for any help you can give us.
