Typeahead for Outlook

So my Act address book is configured, but is typeahead really not a feature of Act and Outlook integration?

Say someone wants to forward an email to someone in the Act! database. Do they really have to click around to get the persons name. Or if they want to send a quick email to someone, should they just be able to type the last few characters of the persons last name so that thier 2 Ghz computer with 2 Gigs of RAM can figure out the persons email from the integrated contact database? Please say yes and show me how! Thanks!

Re: Typeahead for Outlook

If you are using the ACT! Email client in conjunction with Outlook, then you can set this up by going to Tools/Preferences, click the ACT! Email Editor tab and click the Composing Options button. On this screen, you see Auto-Fill options.

If using Outlook to compose emails through ACT!, then the person email address should autofill after at least one email has been sent to that person.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
