Two last names, one contact?

I was unable to find any posts about here I am.  LOL

I have an ACT! v6 database where many contacts have two last names.  The were both entered in one record.  What is the best way to deal with this when converting to ACT! 2011?

Converting to NEW ACT is going to leave them pretty much as they were.  If you want to split them into two records, you would probably want to use a consultant.  You would need to would export the database to text using an add in tool, do some masaging and reimport back as two records also with an add in tool.

If there is any kind of consistent special character as part of the data, than you could likely use DesignR1's Swiss Army Knife to splits the second name to a new field...
