Sorry but I am new to act. I am trying to set up Act for our office of 6 sales reps. our server runs on Windows 2000, so i cannot install it on the server. when i try to install into a server folder from my computer i get an error that says must be installed on the machine.
It does not necessarily have to be sync'd I just need to find a way to get all of our sales reps to view the database and be able to edit it, whether it be through sync or thru sharing.

If everyone will be in house, you can setup one of the workstations as a server and enable share database. You would also use a virtual machine on the your Windows 2000 machine.
