Tool Tab "Web Site Administration"

[ Edited ]

It was there when I first installed it and configured IIS7.

Then I moved the database on same machine to the "Web Site Administration " user account, which is a admin on same pc, played around with plugins a bit.

After reboot and restart the tab under tools is missing "Web Site Administration"

unlike this

my about says this "Sage ACT! Premium (Web) 2013 Version 15.1.108.0"

i am logged in as the admin

what could make the tab disappear?

is there a exe file I could directly access the "Web Site Administration" tab?

 thanks inadvance

Re: Tool Tab "Web Site Administration"

Hello softy783,
See if the option can be added back onto the menu:
- Tools > Customize > Menus & Toolbars
- Click the Commands tab
- On the left, scroll down and select Tools
- On the right, scroll down and locate Web Site Administration
- Drag 'Web Site Administration' up from the right pane to the Tools menu at the top of your ACT! screen, then drop it onto the menu
- Click Close in the Customize box to save

If this does not resolve then try Tools > Customize > Reset Menus and Toolbars

Re: Tool Tab "Web Site Administration"

Thanks 4 your reply

neither of those options restore the tab, it is also not listed under tools-command section

at first I thought a added addon was the cause so I restored a imaged backup

I removed all files from the plugin folder then rebooted pc....this removes the "Web Site Administration" from drop down menue as well as customize menus and toolbar area.

So i copied all previous removed files back to plugin folder and rebooted this however does not restore the "Web Site Administration" tab or command

which plugin is directly responsibel for the "Web Site Administration" functionality?

Re: Tool Tab "Web Site Administration"

First, try opening ACT! by right-clicking on the program icon and selecting "Run As Administrator". If this does not resolve, then I would uninstall and reinstall the software.

Re: Tool Tab "Web Site Administration"

"APFWPlugin.dll" is directly responsible for "Web Site Administrator" tab.

Not sure why Act! did not see the plugin prevouisly, thought I needed to register the dll but that was not the case.

Added,deleted restored ....tested just fine.

Is there a ref to explain all default plugins anywhere?

thanks

Re: Tool Tab "Web Site Administration"

Glad you got the issue resolved. No, there is not a list that I know of that contains a list of the items in the Plugins folder and their function.
