Help. I get the above error message when I try to install a remote database. Anyone have any suggestions? Also if I try to create a new database I get the same error.
I'm using the newest version of Act Premium with Windows XP Home with Service Pack 3. Thanks. Ed Dzioba

It sounds like you're having a SQL connection issue. Which version of ACT! are you using? Are you able to open the demo database?
If you can't open the demo database,ensure that SQL Server (ACT7) is started. You can verify by going to Start > Run and type in services.msc and click OK.

I am running the latest Act! Premium version. I was able to verify that the SQL Server (ACT7) was running but I'm still having the same issue. Any ideas? Thanks. Ed
