The application has encountered an error and has been shut down

... Hi, I get the following two images when I click on edit smart task

...  ( Windows 10 Home 64Bit - No Firewall - No UAC - No Antivirus -  Act! Premium V19.2 Trial )

Thanks for any ideas to fix this database

Has the database in question got  a "history" (like it was converted from an older ACT! version) and was then "transported" to this PC?

I remember some issues with smart tasks when converting older  databases to newer ACT! versions:

http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/37961

I had quite a few updated databases causing me problems with smart tasks, not all of them showing the "Index was outside the bounds of the array" error but also other strange things related to smart tasks.

Hi Juan,

It is quite odd to get this error at this point and I think we need to isolate the issue.

I would like to know if the issue happens in another database or when creating a new Smart task?

Are there any error messages that appear in Windows event viewer before or during the issue? Any other PC connected to the same database
