One of the problems I am having with Act! is programmed into it, but I'll bet that someone out there has a solution. When I use the dialer for a business call, I want two things to happen: 1. the timer to run and 2. a notepad to open to take phone notes. The problem is that Act has been programmed so that the history record only open after you hang up and stop the timer. So, I cannot take my phone notes during the conversation. The Sage people don't want to address this issue (which is strange considering the purpose of Act) but I'll bet that someone out there has come up with some sort of a solution. Is there, for instance, a way to simultaneously open a blank note pad for taking notes, and then (at least), you could hand copy the notes into the history record field?
