Testing ACT 2010

I would like to test ACT 2011 before I cut over. I downloaded the 30-day trial, and when I try to upgrade my 2010 Premium for Web it says that 'Act 2011 cannot exist on the same machine as Act for the Web 2010'

Is there a way get a trial copy of Act for the Web 2011? Will I be able to do the upgrade on my production machine?

Thanks,  Rob

Rob,
To find out about obtaining a copy of ACT! for Web 2011, you will need to contact our Corporate Sales Dept. at (888)855-5222.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Re: Testing ACT 2010

You might be better speak to an ACT! Consultant from www.act.com/acc

You should also be aware, if using on production data, that:
a) If you have LAN/Sync users sharing the database, they'll also need to be updated
b) It updates the database and can't save as an earlier version... so, it's a lot of work to reinstall the previous ver, restore a backup and then get any work done in the new ver back to the old one
