I'm running ACT! 2008 (V 10) via terminal services on a Windows Server 2003. I read somewhere that ACT! doesn't support the auto-dialer in a terminal services environment. Is that still true?
We're ready to get a telemarketer, and really need the auto-dialer function. We use Ring Central for out-going, and would be happy to pay for their out-going service if I knew it would be compatible with ACT!.

Correct, the Dialer is not supported in Terminal Services or Citrix environments. It is documented in the KB linked below.

Thanks for the confirmation and reference. Know of any workaround or add-on that allows automatic dialing within ACT! in a terminal services environment? Or, is ACT! planning to fix this problem in a future release?
