This has to be simple but having moved from the Beta to the live ActV10 I can no longer synch.
The desktop is the host and the laptop the remote.
When I "Accept Incoming Syncs" on the host system I get the port message - port 65100. Then I get the following "Could not start sync server......." When I check the sync server status it says it is running and it has the correct databases listed. This may be a coincidence as there was a windows vista online update for sql server just the day before but it all worked prior to that from the day the Beta was installed.

You don't accept incoming syncs on the host system when you're using a Sync Server.
Accept Incoming Syncs is only for when using Application Sync and then the product needs to be open.
Have you also updated the Sync Server?
BTW: ACT! v10 would be ACT! 2008... I assume you mean ACT! 2010 (v12)
