ACT! by Sage Premium 2008 (10.0) (ST Edition) Version 10.0.1.199
Main Database on sql server, 6 remote databases on different laptops. Only one user cannot synch. Immediately gets the error "Synch Result "The system cannot find the file specified""
I recreated the remote database with a new synch set right after doing a successful check, repair and re-index ACTDIAG on the main database.
A previous answer on the forum suggested reinstalling ACT! on his PC but it didn't help.
He had blackberry software on the PC he tried and couldn't get it to work, so the software was removed, he says now at least the software shows how many days left to synch
Any help would be appreciated.

Can you check that the user has 10.01 and that the main server or sync service is also the same build?
Blackberry software shouldn't interfere with it.

I get error messages like this every so often now, all have had different reasons.
The link above helps if your remote user has a slow connection.
Other fixes have been checking SQL on both server and the remote database. If you won't lose anything from the remote you can rebuild a database and have them unpack on their system. If there are big Data changes this sometimes a new one is best.
