Re: Sync with Outlook Calendar does not work

Hallo Herr Haunstein,

Re: Sync with Outlook Calendar does not work

Hi there,

Firstly I would like to confirm the full versions of Act/Outlook you are using if you copy and paste these from 'Help - About Act' and 'File - Office Account - About Outlook'

if you can try these steps below as potentially could be an Outlook add on interfering.:

  1. Disable all Outlook add-ins.
  2. Close Sage ACT! and Outlook.
  3. Through the Windows® Task Manager, end the process Act.Integration.exe
  4. Attempt to synchronize again.
  5. If the synchronization is successful, enable the Outlook add-ins one at a time and test the synchronization to locate the conflicting add-in.
  6. Leave the conflicting add-in disabled in Outlook.

Re: Sync with Outlook Calendar does not work

Thank you for providing the screenshots.

This is not one of our usual error messages that we received, could you please try this step first to Re-register redemption.dll.

  1. Ensure Act! and Outlook are closed
  2. Navigate to one of the following locations, depending on your operating system (OS) and version of Act!:

    64-bit OS:
    • Act! Pro/Premium: C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows
    • Act! Premium (access via web): C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Web

    32-bit OS:
    • Act! Pro/Premium: C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Windows
    • Act! Premium (access via web): C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Web
  3. Locate the following files:
    • Redemption.dll
    • regsvr32.exe
  4. Drag and drop Redemption.dll on top of regsvr32.exe
  5. When the prompt appears to let you know that it has registered successfully, click OK
  6. Attempt to perform the action which was causing the error to appear

If this step does not help, could you please attempt Office repairs from Control panel.
