Sync problems with one remote user

ACT! 2009 Premium.  User was able to synch until yesterday.  He is now getting the following error message in the "Synchronize Now" window:

 

"The channel 'SyncClient' is not registered with remoting services.  Contact your administrator for assistance."

 

I have tried searching the KB and this board but have not found anything related.

 

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

If it's just a single sync user and his/her data is up to date, then recreating the rdb might be a quick fix.

Unfortunately his data is not up to date on the master DB.  I think I'm going to have him ship his laptop to us.  Thanks for your help...

Try stopping network sync and restarting.  I had the same issue with a remote and I restarted network sync and was able to sync once again.

I am having the same problem. I will try stopping and starting the service. recreating the rdb would be a big chore. It is 5GB.
